If there was ever a drama queen of plants, this is it. Fussy and temperamental at first, Fiddle Leaf Figs will become easier to maintain and grow as you become used to its needs. Allow soil to dry out between waterings and make sure it does not stand in water at any time. Place in a bright and airy spot but avoid high traffic areas where the leaves are constantly brushed (leaves will turn brown and even drop off). Avoid drafts so do not place near a door to the outside or under A/C vents. Can be fertilized with slow-release pellets or with a very diluted solution with each watering.
